Our beloved Indy urgently needs surgery, and we’re struggling to cover the cost.
About two weeks ago, Indy began bleeding heavily from her back. When we shaved her fur to investigate, we found a large mass. The vet recommended surgery as the best course of action, but we were told we could also manage the wound at home if surgery wasn’t possible.
Since then, it’s been a daily challenge cleaning the open wound, changing bandages, and doing everything we can to keep her comfortable. Just today, we discovered another growth, and our worry is growing. The vet warned it could be cancer, but we need to proceed with surgery and a biopsy to know for sure.
We love Indy dearly, and it’s heartbreaking to watch her go through this. Any amount you’re able to give would make a world of difference to our family. Thank you so much for your kindness and support.
