Hello, my beautiful 8-year-old daughter Kimberly (lovingly known as Kimmy) was born with syndactyly of her left foot, missing two toes on each foot, and the fusion of her pointer finger and index finger on her right hand.
Since she was a baby, she has surprised medical professionals with her ability to adapt to her physical deformities. She began undergoing surgeries at the age of one to correct the physical appearance of her hand and feet and to improve her overall mobility. She is definitely the strongest and bravest person I know!
Despite the immense pain, uncertainty of the surgery outcomes, and sometimes cruel treatment from others because of her differences, Kimmy wakes up every day with a smile and a desire to make others happy.
As she is getting older, her medical needs are becoming more costly and frequent. Doctors do not know the cause of her conditions, nor do they have a clear plan on what will be needed surgically long term.
I am the sole provider for Kimmy, currently working two jobs, and delivering food at night to keep us afloat. I am very grateful for everything God has blessed us with, and I’m trusting that things will continue to work themselves out.
I realize that times are tough for many people right now, so I am eternally thankful for any monetary assistance during our time of need. Thank you for taking the time to read about my Kimmy ❤️
