We are reaching out with heavy hearts and hopeful spirits to support someone very dear to us all, Bruce Bradford, who was recently diagnosed with high-grade Myelodysplastic Syndrome, which has progressed into Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
As you can imagine, the emotional, physical, and financial toll of this journey is overwhelming. Bruce is not just a friend, father, grandfather, husband, son, uncle , and brother – he is a fighter. He’s the kind of man who lights up every room he walks into, always ready with a helping hand or a warm smile. He has spent his life giving selflessly to others, and now it’s our turn to be there for him.
Bruce is currently receiving treatment at a hospital 2.5 hours away from home, which adds another layer of stress for his family. His wife, Christine, has had to miss a significant amount of work to be by his side during this difficult time. Meanwhile, Bruce is unable to work at all due to the intensity of his illness and treatment. The loss of income, travel expenses, and mounting medical bills have created a financial burden that no family should have to face alone.
Beyond his role in his family, Bruce has always been deeply involved in the community ; cheering from the sidelines at soccer and softball games for his children and grandchildren, volunteering his time, and showing up for others whenever he was needed. His presence and spirit have touched so many lives, and now we have the opportunity to give back.
We are asking for your help , whether it’s through a financial donation, a message of encouragement, or simply by sharing this campaign. Every bit of support will make a difference and help ease the burden so Bruce and Christine can focus on what matters most: healing and staying strong together.
Bruce has always shown up for the people he loves. Now it’s our turn to show up for him. Thank you for standing with us during this incredibly difficult time. Your generosity, prayers, and love mean more than words can express.
