Relief for Jordan’s Health & Sick Cat

Emergency Medical & Vet Expenses – Please Help Us Through This Tough Season

Hi everyone,

I never thought I’d be in a position to ask for help like this, but our situation has become overwhelming — physically, emotionally, and financially.

I’ve been struggling with severe abdominal pain for months, and after finally going back to the emergency room again yesterday, I was diagnosed with biliary colic caused by gallstones. The pain is debilitating — especially after I eat — and it’s been affecting every part of my life. It feels like a sharp, squeezing pain under my ribs that sometimes radiates to my back. I can’t eat normally, I can’t sleep, and I can barely function. I also become extremely allergic to the morphine they gave me as well and they had to give me another medication as well to stop that swelling, itching and redness

At this point, the only real solution is gallbladder surgery, but nothing has been easy about this. Even after my ER visit, I left without any pain medication, follow-up instructions, or help getting to a surgeon. We’re preparing to head back to the ER again in hopes that someone will finally take this seriously and help get the process moving. Every step forward feels like a fight.

On top of all that, our sweet cat — who is like family to us — suddenly became very sick. She’s been sneezing, in obvious pain, and shaking her head constantly. Her ears seem to be bothering her badly. Thankfully, the vet moved her appointment up to tomorrow at 8:20 AM, but we’re already bracing ourselves for the bill.

Everything is out of pocket.

We don’t have insurance to cover these procedures. Every doctor’s visit, every ER trip, every scan or test — it’s all coming straight out of our pockets. After surgery, I’ll have to stick to a special diet, and those foods are expensive. Not to mention the transportation costs just to get to and from all these appointments. It all adds up fast, and we’re drowning in it.

My husband is the only one working right now, and he’s doing everything he can to hold us together. I’m currently working with a law firm to try and get approved for disability, but I’ve already been denied once and the process is slow and draining. It’s hard asking for help, but we truly don’t know what else to do right now.

What we need help with:

• Out-of-pocket medical costs (including potential surgery)

• Emergency vet bills for our sick cat

• Post-surgery diet and recovery support

• Transportation costs for medical appointments

• Basic living expenses while I’m unable to work

If you’re able to donate, even a few dollars would mean the world to us right now. And if you’re not in a place to give, please consider sharing this with someone who might be able to help.

Thank you for reading our story, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, your prayers, and your support during this incredibly difficult time.

With love and gratitude, Jordan & Quenton

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
