My name is Gaylord Neil Yeaman I am 80 years old and reside in Ponchatoula La. About 6 years ago I had my prostate removed due to having prostate cancer. Last year I was diagnosed again with prostate cancer(where the prostate would sit) cancer of the lymph node in my pelvic area and now recently it has spread to my hip area. I have had 1 blood transfusion so far due to several low iron levels and am now receiving IV iron infusions. My iron levels are at 4.2 which is critically low . Even though eating foods high in iron and taking iron pills my body isn’t absorbing the iron for some reason. We’ll ever since I started these infusions and now seeing an oncologist and hematologist along with my other doctors my insurance won’t pay for my home health and home health aid which assists me with baths because I am a fall risk. I am now having to ask for help so I may pay my home health company out of pocket so I can continue my home health three times a week. Anything helps and if you can help thank you in advance
