My son, who has been involved in the horse world his entire life and is working towards becoming a trainer, was thrown off and his foot got caught in the stirrup. Landing just right, he has suffered a devastating injury, breaking the largest bone in his foot and dislocating his ankle. He has had one emergency surgery and is scheduled for another one next week. He is unable to work and can hardly even get around. Insurance will cover some of it, but he’s facing a long road to recovery! ❤️
