On May 28th, our dear friend and local swim teacher Caitlin Kovnat was involved in a serious car accident that was not her fault. While we’re incredibly grateful she survived, she sustained significant medical injuries and damage to her personal property. Now she faces a long road to recovery — physically, emotionally, and financially.
If you know Caitlin, you know how much she’s poured into our community. She’s taught dozens of kids in our neighborhood how to swim — with patience, laughter, and an unwavering dedication to their safety and confidence. She’s also been there for us beyond the pool, stepping in as a lifeguard and even bartending at our neighborhood parties, always with a warm smile and giving heart.
Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
This fundraiser will help cover:
• Medical bills and ongoing care
• Car repairs or replacement
• Lost income while she recovers
• Other essential living expenses
Any amount you can contribute will go a long way. Let’s rally around someone who’s given so much to our families and help ease the burden as she heals.
Please donate if you can — and share this with others who know and love her. Thank you for being part of this community and for standing by one of our own.
