Our dear friend Calley Sunderman has just received devastating news: a third cancer diagnosis. After bravely overcoming both PNET sarcoma in her kidney and sinus cancer, Calley is now facing nasal cancer—a heartbreaking result of the radiation that helped save her life in the past.
Despite the shock and gravity of this diagnosis, we’re holding on to hope that the third time’s the charm. Calley is ready to fight—again—but this time, she’ll need specialized surgery, reconstructive procedures, and likely chemotherapy, all of which come with the significant financial burden.
Calley is one of the kindest, most empathetic people you’ll ever meet. She’s a beloved mother, wife, friend, and educator in the Treasure Valley, and she has spent her life uplifting others. Whether you know her from Human Rights education work at Wassmuth, her time at Erma Hayman House, Everwild Forest School, volunteering at Future Public School or at Treefort, or simply from her warm presence in your life—you know the kind of heart she brings into the world.
Now it’s our turn to show up for her.
If you’re able to support Calley and her family as they navigate this difficult road, your contribution—big or small—will go directly toward lifesaving treatment, support, and healing. Let’s help ease the burden so she can focus on what matters most: healing and being here for her family.
With love, hope, and deep gratitude, thank you.
