While on a missions trip in Canada, working with a new Haitian ministry, Gayle Parker had a nasty fall. Just days before returning home to the US, she fell and cracked her left femur, one of the strongest bones in the body. She was taken to Ottawa general hospital where they did surgery to repair the bone.
