This is my dad.
This picture was taken in the ICU. He has tubes in his mouth, wires in his arms, and machines helping him breathe. He’s fighting Stage 4 lung cancer, and I’m terrified we’re going to lose him.
I’m only 17. I’m his only daughter.
And I can’t lose my dad.
I’m not ready.
It’s just me and my mom right now.
She’s trying to be strong, but I see her break down when she thinks I’m not looking. She didn’t even want to do this fundraiser at first — she didn’t want people knowing our business. But we’re out of options. Watching the person you love suffer like this, and knowing you can’t afford the care he needs… it’s the worst feeling in the world.
He’s always been our protector. Our provider.
Now he’s in a hospital bed, and we’re fighting to keep him alive.
We’re trying to raise $75,000 to cover his care:
• $30,000 for ICU costs, oxygen machines, hospital care
• $20,000 for cancer treatment, chemo, and medications
• $10,000 for transportation, equipment, and recovery support
• $15,000 to help my mom cover bills, food, and staying by his side
I don’t care about material things.
I just want my dad to come home.
If you can give anything — even $1 — it could help keep him here longer.
Even just sharing this could mean the world.
Please. I need my dad.
My mom needs her husband.
We can’t do this alone anymore.
From the bottom of my heart,
[Lisa Marie], his daughter
