My husband of 49 years had a stroke. He is paralyzed and no longer able to speak. He did everything, including bills, and as a severe diabetic, he took care of me. Now, I must, as the only caregiver, take care of him. Diapers, medicine, necessities, and medical transport trips have quickly used all our savings. I need my supplies for my insulin pump and heart meds for us both. We have little coverage we qualify for. We are drowning in debt. I desperately need to get surgery on an umbilical hernia, and it seems like there is so much more I need to put here going on in my life. He served 40 years in the USAF(R), yet he failed to get service connected, so I am praying I can do that. Please help me; I am so desperate.
