Hello everyone my name is Carmen and I’m starting this fundraiser for my dear best friend Jennifer who is a single mom to a beautiful daughter that has recently been told she is having to fight a battle no one wants to be told they are going to have to fight but she is in really good spirits and knows God is in control. Here is her story:
On May 13, 2025 she was admitted into Goshen hospital. Where her white blood cells, her platelets, and her hemoglobin were critically low. Then on May 15th, 2025 she was transferred to a hospital down in Indy. (which she getting the best care.) On May 22nd 2025 she was diagnosed with ALL (acute lymphomablastic leukemia). It is a aggressive cancer but they caught it early and she is young so she be able to beat it. They’re going to treat it with aggressive chemo which she is supposed to go through a month of. They are giving her platelets and blood when she needs them to keep her platelets and hemoglobin up and she is also getting shots to keep her white blood cells up. She has to have a total of 12 IT Chemo’s (spinal chemos), because the cancer can go to the brain and they want to prevent that. Which she has done 2 so far. The first one was better than the 2nd but it’s all good. She’s in good spirits. She knows God is going to bring her out victorious and she will have a great testimony. She knows God is the one true healer and she is not worried about a thing even on her worst days. She is on day 15 of chemo. Her hair is thinning out faster than she likes and the chemo is taking a toll on her muscles.
As many of you can imagine the stress of not working, not knowing when you’llbe able to go back to work, not being home with her daughter(her daughter is in great hands and is being taken care of), the normal bills needing paid, the load of medical bills she will have, and then once she is home she will still have to make trips down to Indy that I am wanting to try and take some of that stress off her by starting up this fundraiser.
If you feel led to donate thank you, if you can’t please just keep her in your prayers and share this!
