Last year Austin was diagnosed with Rhabdomyolysis. Rhabdomyolysis is the breakdown of muscle tissue that leads to the release of muscle fiber contents into the blood.
Austin frequently has to travel to Chapel Hill for doctor appointments that include infusions that make him very tired. Austin may not be happy with her but my mom, Joyce asked to make this for Austin to maybe help alleviate some financial burden. Austin is employed, however due to his diagnosis he has to leave work frequently due to pain and not feeling well. Austin does have medical insurance but the medications he is having to take, are not being covered by the insurance and these medications are expensive. Austin recently had to get a new vehicle because his old truck stopped working.
Yesterday, 6/4/25; Austin had bloodwork done to see if it has spread to his heart and brain. He was put on two other medications he had to pay for out of pocket.
We all know how powerful prayer is and are asking all prayer warriors to keep him in your prayers.
