Hi everyone, my name is Christina, and I’m reaching out on behalf of my beautiful sister, who was seriously injured in a terrible accident during our family camping trip last weekend.
What was supposed to be a peaceful and fun weekend in nature turned into a nightmare. While we were camping, an unexpected accident caused severe trauma to her face. She was rushed to the hospital and has since been told she’ll need multiple reconstructive surgeries to begin healing physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Her injuries are extensive and painful, and the recovery process will be long, challenging, and expensive. She will need surgery to repair broken bones in her face, potential dental reconstruction, and follow-up care, not to mention the emotional toll this has already taken on her.
My sister is one of the strongest, kindest, and most selfless people I know. She lights up every room she walks into, and seeing her go through something this traumatic has shaken all of us. We are grateful she’s alive; that’s the miracle. But now we’re focused on getting her the care and support she needs to recover.
