Hi everyone,
My name is Jessebel, and I’m an international student in Texas A&M University. I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support and prayers in a difficult time for our family.
My dad died when I was just 2 years old, and my mom was all I had growing up and she raised 8 kids all by herself. She is all we have, she is our life.
But last June 1, 2025, my mom, was rushed to Medical Center in after suffering from severe abdominal pain. After a series of tests and an emergency surgery, doctors discovered a tumor in her colon, near the liver, a condition called Hepatic Flexure Colon Carcinoma (see the clinical abstract), which is likely cancer.
She underwent an emergency exploratory laparotomy, and the surgeons had to perform an Extended Right Hemicolectomy by removing a significant portion of her small and large intestines, then reconnected the healthy parts in a delicate procedure. Thankfully, she made it through surgery, but her battle is not over.
We are now facing:
- High hospital and surgery costs in a private hospital
- Long-term medications and lab tests
- Specialized post-surgery diet and recovery care
- A likely cancer treatment journey ahead
We are doing everything we can, but we need your help. Any amount you can give will help us cover her hospital bill, medications, and ensure she can continue healing at home with proper nutrition and follow-up care.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this campaign with your network. Every bit of support brings us closer to giving my mom a fighting chance for a healthy recovery.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you.
