Help Cherish and Family During High-Risk Birth

Hello, my name is Cherish. I am a type 1 diabetic with my second blessing on her way. With me being due for a scheduled C-section on June 21st, due to my second blessing needing to be delivered via C-section because her belly is a little bigger than her head and doctors are scared she might get stuck in my birth canal, my family and I are having to deliver in Sacramento, CA, which is about 5 hours away from where we live.

With how expensive everything is and having to have my mom come from out of town all the way from Iowa, money has been a little tight. We are seeking any help with anything at all. We are told we will have to be at the hospital for a few days after this birth due to my blood sugars being higher than the doctors like and just to make sure baby girl is healthy enough to come home. Because my blood sugars have been high with this pregnancy, they are expecting our little blessing to come out with lower sugars, which can be dangerous and cause seizures.

My mom has to be with us due to my first blessing needing to be watched, but unfortunately, she doesn’t do good away from me for more than a couple of hours, and she will not be able to go to bed unless I put her to sleep. So, we need help with money for a hotel for my mom and daughter, along with food, and then once we get home, the bills we then have to pay for.

This pregnancy has been a little more difficult than my last just due to the doctor not understanding that we needed to know when we would be having a C-section because my husband has to request time off work along with applying for parental leave benefits and my mother needing to know when to book a flight. This is why we are in a little bit of a pickle and are seeking help. Anything helps, please and thank you. God bless everyone. And please pray for me with this delivery; I’m a bit scared this time around.

Tranding Fundraisers

I’ve created this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friends, Sarah and James, who are enduring every parent’s worst nightmare — the loss of their beloved son, Leo.

We’re heartbroken to share that our dear friend Alex passed away far too soon. His light, his laughter, his incredible spirit — they touched so many, and his absence is deeply felt.

Hi everyone — Angela here, writing on behalf of Matthew (for now). On December 6th, completely out of the blue, Matthew suffered a severe stroke.
